This all started in one Ben’s epic trailer dive.
Im not sure why i didnt take any picture but the ram was blown out an mounted backward, all teh rods bent and the hammer properly stuck in there …
The goal: make a bolt action cocker with under-battel 12g 😁
The frame screws were so rusted in place they needed some “persuasion” …
Then remove the unnecessary bits
Save the ASA and make the mount to flip it horizontally.
Now it’s time to make the slot for the bolt handle and remove the feedneck
All work performed under the supervision of the shop frog
Time to work on the custom bolt. For this i came up with a 3 piece bolt where the center piece hold the bolt handle and rotate while the front and back of the bolt are stationary.
The picture bellow has the bolt complete with the bolt handle made from an old casing.
With a bunch of little details work to make it functional, i present you the Bolt Action trilogy.
